Technical Data

item products are based on different modular dimensions and their associated system grooves.Profiles from Lines 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 each need corresponding sizes of fasteners. The profiles in Line X feature a Line 8 system groove but have a particularly flat surface withminimum curve radii that make them ideal for building sealed constructions.
All substances are registered according to the REACH regulation.REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) ensures that usershave accurate information on the type and properties of operating materials, lubricants, etc.that they might come into contact with.
Components that are RoHS-compliant contain no dangerous substances such as lead or cadmium.EC Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS 1) restricts the use of certain substances in electronic devices and components. These include batteries, etc.

Description

Multi-Segment RGB LED Strip Controller DIN/AIN 24VDC is used to control LED Strips. It can handle several different operating modes for industrial signalling solutions. Commissioning and parametrisation are carried out via a web interface using any WLAN-capable device.
A total of five digital inputs and one analogue input are available. The Controller features three M12 connections for connecting (push)buttons, switches and sensors, a Multi-Segment RGB LED Strip and a power supply unit, such as Plug-In Power Supply 24V 1A M12 (0.0.720.39).
The web interface of Multi-Segment RGB LED Strip Controller DIN/AIN is intuitive to use. The functions are collected together on pages that you select simply by clicking the relevant tab.
* The “Settings” page is where you can adjust basic settings and customise the parameters of the various operating modes. That includes selecting colours, switching signals and threshold values.
* The “Inputs” page sets out actual digital and analogue values. You can also simulate these signals for testing purposes.
* The “Device” page provides all key information such as the firmware version and operating status of the controller.
Sensor/Actuator Splitter M12 5P, T-shaped, A-coded (0.0.724.12) can be used to help the Controller actuate several Multi-Segment RGB LED Strips in parallel. This results in signalling that can be seen clearly from every direction, with several LED Strips fitted to various grooves on a profile or to various different profiles.
The total length of all the LED Strips cannot exceed 6 metres.
Multi-Segment RGB LED Strip Controller DIN/AIN 24VDC can also be in autonomous solutions. For example, a photoelectric sensor can be used to monitor the fill level in transport boxes on a conveyor belt. If a crate has been overfilled, this photoelectric sensor will send a signal to the Controller, which will trigger an alarm and attract the attention of staff with a flashing light on an LED Strip.
Countdown mode:
Countdown mode visualises elapsed process time periods. The length of the time periods and the warning and alarm thresholds can all be freely selected, as can the colours and flashing mode.
Fill level mode:
Rising and falling fill levels can be visualised in this mode. Freely definable warning and alarm thresholds can be defined to show when a critical status has been reached due to levels falling too low or climbing too high.
Segment display mode:
One to five specific sections of the LED strip are actuated. This mode is a substitute for conventional machine traffic lights or stacked lights. Statuses can be visually depicted via patterns of lights or flashing patterns.
Highlight mode:
The entire LED strip lights up in one colour to ensure that process statuses are clearly visible. Various flashing patterns are available to choose from. Colours can be customised.
Pick-by-light mode:
Ideal for user-friendly operation in order picking at assembly workstations and in simple shelving systems. Segments can be freely configured in terms of position and length. More detailed settings are available within this operating mode.
Signal control:
* Direct mode: Each of the 6 inputs controls a separate segment – up to 6 segments can be displayed simultaneously
* Bit pattern mode: 6 inputs are combined as binary code – up to 63 segments can be controlled individually
Recipe mode: Segments are replaced by recipes. A recipe consists of up to 32 freely definable segment combinations. Within recipe mode, the display format can be customised
* Parallel display: All segments of a recipe are activated simultaneously.
* Sequential display: Segments are displayed one after the other. To do this, one input is blocked.
