Description

Profile 8 80x80 4N90 light is a universal construction profile made of high-quality anodized aluminium in the modular dimension of Line 8.
This weight-reduced aluminium profile in the light design variant from item features four open Line 8 profile grooves. Four grooves are closed on two adjacent sides. This aluminium profile can be used to build frames that have easy-to-clean unbroken outer surfaces.
The profiles in Line 8 are available in standard, light and economy (E) design variants. Due to additional cavities, a Profile 8 80x80 light weighs around 26 percent less than a Profile 8 80x80 in the same length. A Profile 8 80x80 E weighs approximately 44 percent less. Please note the additional screw channel in the central cavity of Profile 8 80x80 E.
The area moments of inertia against profile deflection and the maximum groove load-bearing capacity of the selected profile must be given due consideration in respect of the loads involved.
Line 8 profiles from item are available with closed grooves in a variety of arrangements. The profile wall can be opened up partially or completely so that the groove underneath can be used. The NO design variant indicates that the closed grooves are particularly easy to open up thanks to two notches on the underside of the outer surface.
Automatic-Fastening Set 8 NO (0.0.489.96) is ideal for connecting profiles together. It requires only a minimal opening in the groove and comes with its own cap.
