Description

Profile WFC 8 40x40 is a universal construction profile made of an environmentally friendly material in the modular dimension of Line 8.
This especially lightweight profile features four open Line 8 profile grooves. This makes it compatible with fasteners and accessories in the item Building Kit System.
item Profiles WFC 8 (WFC = wood fibre composite) are made up of 75 percent wood fibres that are sourced as a waste product from the saw cutting industry (PEFC certified) and 25 percent recycled PE. They are extremely easy to machine, moisture resistant, electrically insulating and neutral to electromagnetic waves.
The lightweight profiles are simply sawed to length like wood. Saw-cut edges do not need to be deburred, threads do not need to be tapped separately. This ensures you can build lightweight equipment and fixtures such as racks, tables and partitions directly on site without needing any special tools.
WFC profiles combine the advantages of a standardised profile featuring Line 8 grooves with an innovative material that satisfies the most stringent requirements for a circular economy. item takes back off-cuts and profiles that are no longer needed from customers across Germany at no cost. At the end of its useful life, the material can be fully reprocessed and used to manufacture new profiles.
Profiles WFC 8 are sustainable throughout their entire service life and beyond and have a small carbon footprint. That is why they are certified as cradle-to-cradle products by Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute B.V.

Assembly Instructions

Profiles WFC 8 are connected together using Standard-Fastening Set KH or Angle Bracket Sets 8 PA. The Line 8 groove also means that hinges and other accessories from the item Building Kit System can be used with these profiles.
When using accessories, it is essential to take into account load limits.
