Technical Data

item products are based on different modular dimensions and their associated system grooves.Profiles from Lines 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 each need corresponding sizes of fasteners. The profiles in Line X feature a Line 8 system groove but have a particularly flat surface withminimum curve radii that make them ideal for building sealed constructions.
All substances are registered according to the REACH regulation.REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) ensures that usershave accurate information on the type and properties of operating materials, lubricants, etc.that they might come into contact with.
Components that are RoHS-compliant contain no dangerous substances such as lead or cadmium.EC Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS 1) restricts the use of certain substances in electronic devices and components. These include batteries, etc.

Description

Panel Fixing Block 8 4mm Zn secures 4 mm thick polycarbonate or PET-G panels in a Line 8 groove without any machining. The panel fixing element helps ensure enclosures and guards with a transparent, impact-proof infill can be built efficiently.
To construct a guard safely, the panel element must be secured using at least two Panel Fixing Blocks in each groove. To achieve a load capacity of 115 J in line with DIN EN ISO 14120:2016, two Panel Fixing Blocks need to be fitted per 1000 mm. Using three Panel Fixing Blocks per 1000 mm increases this capacity to 329 J.

Assembly Instructions

1. Swivel the Panel Fixing Block into place between the panel element and the groove flank
2. Tighten the self-tapping Button-Head Screws

Important: To ensure optimum clamping, both screws must pass through the panel element. The panel must therefore be sitting entirely in the groove on all sides.
