Description

In Karakuri/LCA applications, the chain can be used as an alternative to a cable and is connected to profiles that serve as end points using Chain Fastener 1/2" M6-50 (0.0.708.59). A Sprocket Wheel z16 D34.8-5.2 (0.0.714.48) is used to transfer forces to other components.
On Linear Units and in dynamic applications, Chain 1/2" is routed through the profile groove. It can be accessed through the groove and can be used to transfer drive forces.
No fastening elements can be fitted in the profile grooves where the chain is run.

Assembly Instructions

Chain 1/2" can be opened and closed with a chain tool. A simpler alternative is to use Chain Link 1/2" (0.0.465.39), which creates a stable and easy-to-open connection between two ends of a chain. It can be closed again using needle-nosed pliers.
