Description

Sometimes you just need more grooves! Groove Plate X 8 40 can be used to build large, sturdy working surfaces or complete walls with continuous grooves stretching from one end to the other. The manufacturing process for this product ensures that the grooves are positioned exactly 40 mm apart. This means that the repeat accuracy when dismantling and then reassembling fixtures is excellent.
When used as a working surface, workpieces can be easily and flexibly fastened in the grooves. Fixtures, machinery and tools can also be positioned In the working area in a few swift moves.
Torsion-resistant Groove Plate X 8 is double sided and, as the grooves on either side run at a 90° angle to each other, they can be used in either a side-to-side or front-to-back orientation. The grooves are designed for extraction forces up to 2500 N.
Note:
Groove Plate Profile 8 400x14 (0.0.678.02) is available for lightweight applications such as mounting hooks and holders.
Caps can be pushed onto all the sides of Groove Plate X 8 40, light to cover over sharp outer edges with no need to deburr anything. The ends of the grooves are not sealed, which makes cleaning easier. The open ends also make it easier to slot in T-Slot Nuts and other fastening materials at the end face. If only one groove is available, the 80 mm-wide Cap can be simply cut in half along the central notch using item Multi-Purpose Pliers. The subtle grey colouring reflects the colour of the anodized aluminium profiles.
