Conveyor belt drives from item – the driving force in material transport
A double-pack of efficiency – belt conveyor drives from item in detail
The correct combination of motor and gear box makes your conveyor belt a perfect component of your material flow. On the one hand, you can achieve a particularly high level of energy efficiency by using an electric motor with an integrated gearbox for your conveyor belt. On the other hand, you can choose an electric motor with a separate gearbox for greater flexibility. Both motor/gearbox combinations are available as direct drives.

For your item conveyor belt – motors and gearboxes
To achieve the optimum belt speed, the item Conveyor Belt System features two motor and transmission combinations with six different gear ratios. The AC D16 model is a conveyor belt motor with gear box. It has a high efficiency rating of IE3 and an integrated Spiroplan® gearbox.
In Motor AC D11 from item, the electric motor and bevel gearbox are separate units. This makes it easier to convert a conveyor line for different speeds.

Flexible installation of conveyor belt drives
The ingenious Motor Fastening Sets make it possible to mount the drive unit of the conveyor belt drive on the right or left side of the conveyor belt using the plug-and-play principle. The position and alignment can be changed later if required in just a few simple steps. The item Conveyor Belt System thus ensures you are always flexible.

Just one conveyor belt motor for parallel belts
The modular design makes it possible to drive several conveyor belts synchronously using a single motor. The belts can also be synchronised after installation. The Synchronising Set for the conveyor belt drive supports custom spacings and uses an expanding hub coupling to compensate for slight misalignments. The rotating shaft can be safely covered to protect staff.
