item products are based on different modular dimensions and their associated system grooves.Profiles from Lines 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 each need corresponding sizes of fasteners.The profiles in Line X feature a Line 8 system groove but have a particularly flat surface withminimum curve radii that make them ideal for building sealed constructions.
Components with this symbol meet the requirements of IEC 61340-5-1 and are therefore suitable for use in EPAs (electrostatic protected areas). By complying with the further stipulations of this standard you can use these products to create a safe environment for handling electronic components.

Description

Standard-Fastening Set 6 ESD, bright zinc-plated from item joins two Line 6 profiles at a right angle to create a connection that is highly resistant to displacement and torsion. The connecting plate is made of bright zinc-plated steel and projects into the grooves on both sides to ensure the alignment of the profiles is torsion-resistant.
The special screw breaks through the insulating anodized surface covering to facilitate an ESD-safe contact between the profiles.
A thread needs to be tapped into the core bore of the first profile to install the fastener. The second profile requires an installation bore and is connected in a fixed position.
Compared to other fasteners, Standard Fasteners protrude into the groove to a minimal extent only. Standard-Fastening Set 6 features a double-sided anti-torsion feature as standard, but is also available in variants that have either a connecting plate that is shortened on one side or a compact centring aid (K). The variants leave one or both grooves of the aluminium profiles free.
Standard-Fastening Sets 6 are also available in an ESD-safe design to help dissipate electrostatic charges.
