Description

Thanks to Double Door Stop Set 8, generous double doors can now be built without having to incorporate inconvenient centre posts. The innovative mechanism ensures that the passive door is automatically held in place when the active door is closed. One lock is all that is needed to hold both doors securely in place.
Fast to operate: Both doors are secured together with just a single lock. Users don’t have to open or close an additional latch or catch.

Totally secure: Double Door Stop Set 8 automatically locks the passive door when the double doors are closed so that they can’t be accidentally pulled open.
No misuse: Not shutting the doors properly does not damage the mechanism.

Spotlessly clean: As is standard for Line XMS, double doors can also be sealed dust-tight using Door Seal Adapter Profile 8 - XMS.
Double Door Stop Set 8 is the simplest way to use safe double doors that provide access for feeding large workpieces unobstructed into a machine. Whether a maintenance hatch or a safety door in a machine frame, it satisfies the most stringent requirements in terms of safety, cleanliness and rapid access.
Door Lock X 8 Zn (0.0.652.66) is ideal as a mechanical locking device. All fastening screws are safely concealed when the door is closed. Safety Switch 8, 24V DC (0.0.658.28) provides even better safety. It uses contactless switching and is therefore free from mechanical wear, thanks to tamper-proof RFID technology.
The double door stop set 8 is compatible with the Series 8 series. This means that a Double Access Door can also be created using the MB Building Kit System. To prevent the passive door leaf from swinging past its stop, its closing movement in the MB system must be restricted by door stop 8 Zn (0.0.728.13) or a door stop seal 8 40 (0.0.617.31) and, in the XMS system, by the door seal profile 8 - XMS (0.0.649.89), the door seal profile T1 (0.0.649.88) or the door seal profile T2 (0.0.649.87).
The passive door leaf (left) remains locked when the active door (right) is open, to prevent it from swinging open unintentionally. The catch on the passive door leaf is released by pressing lightly against the door frame .

Assembly Instructions

The double door stop set 8 is compatible with profiles from the 8 series. The doors can be constructed using 8 40x40 profiles (E, light, standard).
When assembling the door frames, a stepped hole (D15x12.3) must be used. You can use the step drill, clamp profile 8 40x40 (0.0.265.21) for this.

Note: The continuous, vertical profiles of the doors must be fitted with a cap so that the mechanism of the double door stop set can engage.
