Wall Trunking, Profile X 8 70x20-45° K76 is used as a cover in the item wall trunking system. This aluminium profile with a 45° angled edge ensures that dirt and dust won’t settle on the cable conduit. It also prevents disruption to low-turbulence air currents in a cleanroom.
Sockets, switches and network connections can all be clipped directly into place between two Wall Trunking Profiles. Cover Profile 76 Al (0.0.663.40) serves as a cover panel for the front.
The modular wall trunking solution from item is integrated into the wall and is ideal for use in both rooms and machine cabins. The wall trunking is also suitable for use in cleanrooms. It only protrudes by 20 mm. The 45° angle on the surface of the Wall Trunking Profile ensures dust will not settle on the trunking and prevents any disruption to low-turbulence air currents.
The wall trunking also allows for cables to be laid over vertical profiles without any need for machining. The trunking is prepared for use with K76 elements. Sockets, switches and network connections can all be clipped into place conveniently between two sections of Wall Trunking Profile, maximising the flexibility of the system.
The item wall trunking is a modular system solution based on the item Fixing System. The aluminium Wall Trunking Profiles are fastened in place using Fixing System, Base Profile X 8 and can be combined as required. Metal Caps provide a flush closure.
Thanks to ready-made corner elements, you can lay cables to any point in a room. You can even switch from vertical to horizontal sections and back.
Together, two Wall Trunking Profiles form the outer part of the cable conduit. Cables can be run between the profiles and inside the wall. This means it is also possible to install wall trunking on both sides of a wall structure.
When installed in a one-sided configuration, Fixing System, Cover Profile 8 120 is used as a cover panel at the rear. The opening between Wall Trunking Profiles at the front is sealed using Cover Profile 76 Al (0.0.663.40).
Wall Trunking Profiles are available with a rectangular outer contour or a 45° angled outer edge. The angled variant is used for horizontal wall trunking in a cleanroom. The rectangular variant is ideal for vertically installed conduits.
