Description

This sample solution combines efficient material provision and ergonomic picking in a single workstation. A FIFO rack with four storage positions serves as a material buffer. The inclined removal points allow employees to see the entire contents of the SLCs and, after checking the goods, place them directly onto the conveyor belt for further transport.
Returns or empty containers can be conveniently made available for removal via a centrally located roller conveyor.
The belt conveyor uses a accumulating belt to line up containers at the end of the conveyor line as needed without interrupting the flow of materials. This enables both flexible and cycle-based processes. The conveyor line is based on the energy-efficient item direct drive.
The application example can be easily adapted using the item Engineeringtool. The capacity of the FIFO rack can be expanded, for example, by increasing the number and length of the roller conveyors. The working height of the picking stations can also be adjusted to suit the goods and boxes.
