Technical Data

item products are based on different modular dimensions and their associated system grooves.Profiles from Lines 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 each need corresponding sizes of fasteners.The profiles in Line X feature a Line 8 system groove but have a particularly flat surface withminimum curve radii that make them ideal for building sealed constructions.
Components with this symbol meet the requirements of IEC 61340-5-1 and are therefore suitable for use in EPAs (electrostatic protected areas). By complying with the further stipulations of this standard you can use these products to create a safe environment for handling electronic components.

Description

Standard-Fastening Set 5 ESD, bright zinc-plated from item joins two Line 5 profiles at a right angle to create a connection that is highly resistant to displacement and torsion. The connecting plate is made of bright zinc-plated steel and projects into the grooves on both sides to ensure the alignment of the profiles is torsion-resistant.
The special screw breaks through the insulating anodized surface covering to facilitate an ESD-safe contact between the profiles.
A thread needs to be tapped into the core bore of the first profile to install the fastener. TThe second profile requires an installation bore and is connected in a fixed position.
