Description

Linear Slide KRF 8 80x40 is based on the torsion-resistant guide profile and innovative track technology of Linear Unit KRF. The aluminium profile with three Line 8 profile grooves features high-strength steel tracks that safely guide the carriage and its criss-crossed roller bearings, even at high speeds and under considerable moment loads.
The carriage offers a high load-carrying capacity and a broad range of attachment options. The play on the roller elements can be adjusted from outside, which reduces maintenance outlay.
When used as a parallel linear slide, Linear Slide KRF 8 can help a driven linear unit safely accommodate large loads and moments.
The cobot Range Extender, which is available as an example solution in the item Online Shop, uses a combination of Linear Unit KRF and Linear Slide KRF. Its linear axes help a cobot to process products at a wider range of positions.
The carriage runs on eight, low-friction, quiet-running roller elements arranged in a criss-cross pattern. When adjusted to eliminate play, they ensure maximum resistance to loads from any direction. The lubrication of the roller elements must be renewed every six months or after 2500 km.
The maximum deflection, fmax, of the system is determined by the dimension of the profile cross-section, the unsupported profile length and the force applied. Deflection should not exceed 1 mm/m.
The maximum deflection, fmax of the system is governed by the dimension of the profile cross-section, the free profile length and the force applied. It should not exceed 1mm/m. The KRF profile must be given appropriate support if the linearity of movement has to be very precise.

Assembly Instructions

Ready-installed tabs at both ends form a stable end limit stop for the carriage. Alternatively, buffer elements such as Parabolic Buffer M8 (0.0.416.39) or Impact Buffers can be used to absorb impacts.
