item products are based on different modular dimensions and their associated system grooves.Profiles from Lines 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 each need corresponding sizes of fasteners.The profiles in Line X feature a Line 8 system groove but have a particularly flat surface withminimum curve radii that make them ideal for building sealed constructions.

Description

Edge Protection Profile 8 provides an elastic covering for the edge of a profile and the surface of the profile up to the groove. The protective profile is fitted in place by being pulled over the corner of the Line 8 profile. It clamps into place on adjacent groove flanks.
The protective profile prevents damage to nearby factory equipment, transported goods and the profile itself.
Up to four Edge Protection Profiles 8 can be fitted to one Line 8 profile. This ensures that a frame can be protected against impacts precisely where it matters. When working with sensitive transported goods, Edge Protection Profile can provide an elastic contact surface that also stops goods from slipping during transportation.
Edge Protection Profile 8 can be used with Profile End Cap 8 (0.0.714.83) to ensure the end face of the profile is also safely covered over. Both products have an identical material thickness.
Tip: Dampen the inside of Edge Protection Profile 8 with soapy water to make it easier to pull the profile into position.

Assembly Instructions

This product can be cut to length as required using item Multi-Purpose Pliers.
