Description

Material Airlock X 8 safely connects a cleanroom to the outside environment. Products and consumables can be transferred in next to no time and with minimal pressure losses. Thanks to a mechanical locking system, only one door of the airlock can ever be open at a time.
The modular item Material Airlock can be customised to match the size of the required transfer opening: The external dimensions, which side each door opens from and the position of the grooves for connections can all be selected as required.
The Material Airlock is mounted on the outside of the cleanroom wall or integrated into the profile frame of the wall.
Material Airlock X 8, Locking Mechanism prevents two opposite doors from being open at the same time. A special coupling mechanism ensures that one door of the airlock can only be opened when the other is shut and the opposite latch is in the correct position. This intuitive failsafe solution doesn’t require any wiring and can even be operated when wearing gloves.
Material Airlock X 8 is suitable for cleanroom class 5 to DIN EN ISO 14644-1. Its alternately opening doors ensure the pressure in the cleanroom does not drop, and they also prevent a considerable exchange of air between the clean production environment and the outside area.
