Description

item Release Unit DIN/DOUT 24V is an electromechanical solution for smart material flow control. An electrically operated bar stops containers and other small load carriers (SLCs) on a roller conveyor and releases them for onward movement on demand.
Integrated control logic takes care of release and separation processes in material supply operations independently. An integrated optical sensor monitors the handover of materials and identifies whether the release process has been executed correctly.
To set the parameters of Release Unit DIN/DOUT 24V, all you need is a WLAN-capable device so that you can run its web interface. Besides allowing you to adjust settings for input and output signals, this interface also provides a graphical overview of your process.
There are two pre-defined operating modes to choose from:

Automatic: Up to three Release Units can be connected together in a logical chain. As plug-and-play solutions, the Release Units recognise each other and control the separation process independently via their integrated logic.

Single-actuator: An overarching controller (PLC) uses the Release Unit as a direct actuator.
Up to three Release Units DIN/DOUT 24V can be connected in a chain and used together in “Automatic” operating mode to complete a range of tasks:

One Release Unit: Holding SLCs in a queue and releasing them via a digital signal

Two Release Units: Additional separation and selective release

Three Release Units: Additional reduction of back pressure

Assembly Instructions

Release Unit DIN/DOUT 24V features two M12 connections for secure signal processing and power supply. Each M12 connection offers one digital input and two digital outputs.
