Mobile robotics – plug-and-play solutions

Straightforward solutions for mobile industrial robots – immediate availability and guaranteed compatibility. Turnkey and freely configurable options.

The ideal additions for your automated guided vehicles and autonomous mobile robots in just two steps

Thanks to item, you can kit out your mobile robots in no time at all. Simply select the appropriate Base Cart and the relevant Top Module for the process to be automated. Alternatively, you can design your very own solution – with all the options of the item Building Kit System at your disposal.

Base Carts for standard AGVs and AMRs

Finding AGV and AMR accessories is quick and easy. Start by selecting a compatible Base Cart for your mobile industrial robot. These base frames are available for models from various manufacturers. Practical filter options in the Online Shop will guide you to the right variant.

If your mobile robot isn’t amongst the options, feel free to contact our experts. Alternatively, you can design your own Base Cart or complete superstructure.

Top Modules for countless processes

The Top Module completes your mobile robot. It is placed on the Base Cart and linked to it via a standardised interface. Alternatively, you can connect the Top Module directly to the mobile robot. Whether they are being used for assembly, order picking or transporting cardboard boxes, our preconfigured Top Modules are just as varied as the corresponding production and intralogistics processes.

Opt for ready-to-use templates, customise these in the free item Engineeringtool or design your very own solutions.

Sample solutions for the Top Modules of driverless transport vehicles

Combine the Top Module of your choice with the Base Cart for your mobile robot or screw the Top Module directly onto the vehicle. Alternatively, you can use the templates as inspiration for your own Top Modules and edit them yourself.

Transport frame for Euro pallets and mesh boxes

This Top Module is ideal for transporting Euro pallets, mesh boxes and self-supporting racks. Stacking guides at the corners ensure the goods being transported are held securely in place on the stable support frame.

Transport rack

This transport rack takes cardboard boxes and small load carriers (SLCs) to the picking point in containers of different sizes on three storage levels. The goods being transported are kept securely in place by the rails surrounding the shelves.

Picking rack

This rack accommodates 18 standard SLCs measuring 600 x 400 mm. The inclined shelves support the ergonomic storage and removal of materials and transport boxes.

Mobile work bench

Enjoy all the advantages of an industrial assembly work bench in a mobile form. This Top Module uses the item Groove Plate with continuous Line 8 grooves for easy attachment of fixtures and workpieces.

Lean production supply rack

This lightweight supply rack is based on the Lean Production Building Kit System and can be used to transport all kinds of goods. It can be adapted to the relevant SLC size, or for hanging goods or the supply of small parts.

Material supply rack

The more robust version of the lean production supply rack is made with components from the item Building Kit System. It can be used for everything from transporting cardboard boxes and standard SLCs to supplying cables and other hanging goods.

Shelf with roller conveyors

Roller conveyors on two levels make this Top Module perfect for supplying materials efficiently. Four SLCs, each measuring 600 x 400 mm, can be transported on each level.

“Our concept for mobile robotics combines two key aspects – reliability through standardisation and flexibility through customisation. The Base Carts are perfectly coordinated with manufacturers’ models, while the Top Modules can be adapted ideally to all kinds of processes.”
