The profiles in Line 8 are available in standard, light and economy (E) design variants. Due to additional cavities, a Profile 8 40x40 light weighs around 30 percent less than a Profile 8 40x40 in the same length. A Profile 8 40x40 E weighs approximately 45 percent less.
The area moments of inertia against profile deflection and the maximum groove load-bearing capacity of the selected profile must be given due consideration in respect of the loads involved.
