Description

Drive Unit Set 8 40 M is the central component of the item centre drive for conveyor belts. It acts as a fixing, bearing and guide for the Drive and Return Pulleys. The Drive Unit Set is used for Flat Conveyor Belts and Timing Belts in all widths.
Pre-tensioning and the run of the belt are adjusted via the clamping screws of the two Return Pulleys.
Besides the fixings for the Drive Unit plates, the Drive Unit Set also includes screws and T-Slot Nuts for installing the width-dependent Drive Pulley Sets.
The relevant Motor Fastening Set M is used to fasten the drive to Drive Unit Set M on either the right or left side of the conveyor belt. In addition, Synchronising Set 8 40 M D13/D16 (0.0.727.04), Synchronising Set 8 40 M D13/D14 (0.0.727.05) and Synchronising Set 8 40 (0.0.703.07) can be used to drive parallel, synchronised conveyor lines.
