Description

Use Countersunk Screw DIN 7991 M8x20 (8.0.001.82) to attach item swivel and fixed castors with a fastening bore up to ⌀10.5 mm to Threaded Insert M8 for Cube Fastening Set 8.
Threaded Insert M8 for Cube Fastening Set 8 is screwed into cube fastener 2D or 3D using a spanner. Its strong M8 thread can be used to fasten castors, Adjustable Feet or accessories in place. Install the Threaded Insert in the relevant profile instead of one of the Button-Head Screws supplied with the Cube Fastening Set but using a Washer from the set.
Threads need to be tapped into the core bores of the profiles that are being connected together with item cube fasteners. You can request profiles that come with these threads already tapped by ordering the service “Connection Processing, End Face, Thread M8x18” (0.0.026.95).
Tip: Profile machining is easy to plan and order when using the item Machiningtool. The online software can be found on the item website.
