item products are based on different modular dimensions and their associated system grooves.Profiles from Lines 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 each need corresponding sizes of fasteners.The profiles in Line X feature a Line 8 system groove but have a particularly flat surface withminimum curve radii that make them ideal for building sealed constructions.

Description

Drive Unit Set 8 40 has two functions. Firstly, it acts as a bearing, connecting the drive pulley of a flat belt or timing belt conveyor to the frame of the conveyor belt. An integral tensioning screw that lies in the profile groove can be used to adjust pre-tensioning. Secondly, when combined with the appropriate Motor Fastening Set, it is used to mount the drive on either the right or left side of the conveyor belt.
The drive units are the primary means of adjusting pre-tensioning and the run of the belt.
In the case of flat belt conveyors, the belt can also be precisely adjusted to run straight at the Return Unit Set by using Fine Adjuster Set 8 (0.0.715.05).
